Česká spořitelna and UniCredit Bank calculate interest using the so-called French standard (ACT/360): monthly interest = balance × annual rate ÷ 360 × the actual number of days in that month. Most other banks use the German standard 30E/360, where every month counts as 30 days. Because the annual rate is divided by 360 while interest accrues over 365 days a year, the payment at these two banks comes out slightly higher. Repayment starts next month.
